Nallur Educational Division Tops in Srilanka

The Educational Division Nallur which includes Kokuvil become the topmost division in Srilanka in the Grade 5 Scholarship examination conducted by the Government of Srilanka.

Tamils Gathered in Parliment Square, London

19th Nov 2008 - 20:30hrs Tamils in U. K gathered in Parliment Square, London opposite the House of Commons:

to protest against the Government of Sri Lanka's genocide of Tamils

to demand the right of self-determination for Tamils in their homeland

to thank and to stand in solidarity with the Tamil people of Tamil Nadu for their efforts and support.

Linganathan & Majurathasan Shined as KHC crushed St. Johns by innings.

In an under 13 cricket match that took place at Jaffna St. Johns College playground KHC won the host by innings. Linganathan of KHC took 9 wickets in both innings.

Kokuvilites batted first and scored 148 runs (Kirishanth 32, Panthiban 22 and Keerthigan 12)
In reply St Johns College scored on 35 runs. KHC's Linganathan took 4 wickets for 6 runs and Majurathasan took 3 wickets for 5 runs and forced a follow on.

In the second innings St. Johns scored 45 runs. Linganathan took 5 wickets for 16 runs and Parthiban took 2 wickets for 9 runs.
