In the over 40 cricket tournament conducted by the TSSA U. K on 25th August 2008, KHC OSA U. K played very well and reached final and played against the Jaffna Central OSA team. Centralites batted first and scored 89 runs for the loss of two wickets in the 6 over match. KHC batted second and scored 38 runs in 3.2 overs. At this point the match had to be abandoned due to bad light. But the Kokuvilites handed over the championship to Centralites as they think the Centralies played better in the previous matches. The officials of TSSA said this is the best ever display of sportsmanship in any of the competition conducted by them in their 16 years history. P. N. Yoganthan of KHC OSA U. K was choosen as the best bawler of the tournament.
